The Dictations · Hadith 842 (#Ḥadīth #5)

5 - حدثنا محمد بن علي ماجيلويه (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار، عن محمد بن أحمد بن يحيى بن عمران الاشعري، عن الحسن بن موسى الخشاب، عن غياث بن كلوب، عن إسحاق بن عمار، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، أن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) قال: لقنوا موتاكم لا إله إلا الله، فإن من كان آخر كلامه لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنة (4).

Muhammad b. `Ali Majiluwayh narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us from Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Yahya b. `Imran al-Ash`ari from al-Hasan b. Musa al-Khashab from Ghiyath b. Kulub from Ishaq b. `Ammar from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers . The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Instruct your dying [to say and believe] “there is no god but Allah (la ilaha illallah)”, for he whose last words are “there is no god but Allah” will enter Paradise.
