The Dictations · Hadith 897 (#Ḥadīth #5)

5 - حدثنا أبي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن أحمد المالكي، قال: حدثنا منصور بن العباس، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن هشام بن سالم، عن زيد الشحام، عن أبي عبد الله الصادق (عليه السلام)، قال: من قرأ في الركعتين الاوليين من صلاة الليل ستين مرة (قل هو الله أحد) في كل ركعة ثلاثين مرة، انفتل وليس بينه وبين الله عزوجل ذنب (3).

My father narrated to us. He said: Al-Hasan b. Ahmad al-Maliki narrated to us. He said: Mansur b. al-`Abbas narrated to us from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Hisham b. Salim from Zayd al-Shahham from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq . He said: Whoever recites qul huwallahu ahad sixty times in the first two units of the night prayer (salat al-layl) – thirty times in each unit – he will be left with no sins between him and Allah.
