The Dictations · Hadith 905 (#Ḥadīth #13)

1 3 - حدثنا أبي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن مالك بن عطية، عن سعيد الاعرج، عن أبي عبد الله جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام)، قال: من أوثق عرى الايمان أن تحب في الله، وتبغض في الله، وتعطي في الله، وتمنع في الله عز وجل (3).

My father narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-Hasan b. Mahbub from Malik b. Atiyya from Sa`id al-A`raj from Abi `Abdillah Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said: From the firmest bonds of faith is to love for Allah, hate for Allah, give for Allah, and prevent for Allah.
