The Dictations · Hadith 923 (#Ḥadīth #2)

2 - حدثنا محمد بن علي ماجيلويه (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثني عمي محمد ابن أبي القاسم، قال: حدثني محمد بن علي الكوفي، عن المفضل بن صالح الاسدي، عن محمد بن مروان، عن أبي عبد الله الصادق، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من أبغضنا أهل البيت بعثه الله يوم القيامة يهوديا. قيل: يا رسول الله، وإن شهد الشهادتين؟ قال: نعم، فإنما احتجز بهاتين الكلمتين عن سفك دمه، أو يؤدي الجزية عن يد وهو صاغر. ثم قال: من أبغضنا أهل البيت بعثه الله يهوديا. قيل: فكيف، يا رسول الله؟ قال: إن أدرك الدجال آمن به (3).

Muhammad b. `Ali Majiluwayh narrated to us. He said: My uncle Muhammad b. Abi’l Qasim narrated to me. He said: Muhammad b. `Ali al-Kufi narrated to me from al-Mufaddal b. Salih al-Asadi from Muhammad b. Marwan from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq from his father from his forefathers . He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever hates us, the Ahl al-Bayt, Allah will raise him up on the Day of Resurrection as a Jew. It was said: O Messenger of Allah! Even if he bears witness to the two testimonies? He said: Yes, for surely, he only upholds these two sayings so that his blood may not be shed, or so that he does not pay the jizya as a subordinate. Then, he said: Whoever hates us, the Ahl al-Bayt, Allah will raise him as a Jew. It was said: How, O Messenger of Allah? He said: If he came by the Dajjal, he would believe in him.
