The Dictations · Hadith 928 (#Ḥadīth #7)

7 - حدثنا عبد الواحد بن محمد العطار (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا علي بن محمد بن قتيبة النيسابوري، قال: حدثنا حمدان بن سليمان، قال: حدثنا علي بن النعمان، عن عبد الله بن طلحة، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، قال: من صام يوم سبعة وعشرين من رجب (5)، كتب الله له أجر صيام سبعين سنة (6).

`Abd al-Wahid b. Muhammad al-`Attar narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Muhammad b. Qutayba al-Nisapuri narrated to us. He said: Hamdan b. Sulayman narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Nu`man narrated to us from `Abdullah b. Talha from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said: Whoever fasts the twenty-seventh of Rajab, Allah records the reward of seventy years of fasting for him.
