Chapter 89 | The Eighty-Ninth Assembly, the Assembly of Sunday, the First of Sha`ban, 368 AH, in the House of al-Sayyid Abi Muhammad Yahya b. Muhammad al-`Alawi
13 - حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق الطالقاني (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن محمد الهمداني، قال: أخبرنا المنذر بن محمد، عن جعفر بن سليمان، عن عبد الله بن الفضل الهاشمي، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، أنه قال: إن مثل أبي طالب مثل أصحاب الكهف حين أسروا الايمان وأظهروا الشرك، فآتاهم الله أجرهم مرتين (3).
Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq al-Talaqani narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Hamadani narrated to us. He said: Al-Mundhir b. Muhammad informed us from Ja`far b. Sulayman from `Abdullah b. al-Fadl al-Hashimi from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said: Surely, the example of Abi Talib is like that of the companions of the cave, who kept the faith a secret and feigned paganism, so Allah gave them their reward twice.
