Chapter 45 | To the governor of Basra upon learning that he had accepted an invitation to a lavish banquet
فَاتَّقِ اللهَ يَا ابْنَ حُنَيْفٍ، وَلْتَكْفُفْ أَقْرَاصُكَ، لِيَكُونَ مِنْ النَّارِ خَلَاصُكَ.
Therefore, O’ Ibn Ḥunayf, fear Allāh and be content with your own loaves so that you may escape Hell.
