٤٤٩. وَقَالَ (عليه السلام): مَنْ كَرُمَتْ عَلَيْهِ نَفْسُهُ هَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ شَهْوَتُهُ.

449. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: Whoever maintains his own respect in view, his desires appear light to him.
