Chapter 70 | In the morning of the day he was fatally struck with a sword
قال الشريف : يعني بالأود الاعوجاج و باللدد الخصام، و هذا من أفصح الكلام.
as-Sayyid ar-Raḍī says: “al-awad” means crookedness and “al-ladad” means enmity, and this is the most eloquent expression.
