Chapter 96 | Punishment of threatening a believer with a king
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ الْخَفَّافِ عَنْ بَعْضِ الْکُوفِیِّینَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ رَوَّعَ مُؤْمِناً بِسُلْطَانٍ لِیُصِیبَهُ مِنْهُ مَکْرُوهاً فَلَمْ یصابه [یصیبه [یُصِبْهُ]] فَهُوَ فِی النَّارِ وَ مَنْ رَوَّعَ بِسُلْطَانٍ لِیُصِیبَهُ مِنْهُ مَکْرُوهاً فَأَصَابَهُ فَهُوَ مَعَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَ إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ فِی النَّارِ.
1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Ahmad b. Idris from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Ibrahim b. Hashim from Ishaq al-Khafaf from some of the Kufans from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who threatens a believer by saying that the latter will be harmed by the king. If the believer is not harmed, the person will go to Hell and if the believer is harmed, the person will be sent to Hell along with Firon and his progeny.”
