The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 1013 (#Ḥadīth #6)

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ الْجَهْمِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ مَشَی إِلَی صَاحِبِ بِدْعَهٍ فَوَقَّرَهُ فَقَدْ مَشَی فِی هَدْمِ الْإِسْلَامِ.

6. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah from his father from Harun b. al-Jahm from Ja’far b. Umar from Abi Abdillah who said: “A person who takes a single step towards a person who does innovation and respects him is certainly like a person who has taken a step to destroy Islam.”
