The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 1045 (#Ḥadīth #7)

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَمْ یَبْتَلِ شِیعَتَنَا بِأَرْبَعٍ أَنْ یَسْأَلُوا النَّاسَ فِی أَکُفِّهِمْ وَ أَنْ یُؤْتَوْا فِی أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ أَنْ یَبْتَلِیَهُمْ بِوَلَایَهِ سَوْءٍ وَ لَا یُولَدُ لَهُمْ أَزْرَقُ أَخْضَرُ.

7. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan from Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab from Ali b. Asbat from some of his companions from Abi Abdillah who said: “The Almighty Allah does not involve our Shias in four kinds of calamities viz. begging, homosexual relations, involving in bad friendship and giving birth to children like a green crow.”
