Chapter 115 | Punishment of cursing a person who does not deserve it
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّعْنَهَ إِذَا خَرَجَتْ مِنْ فَمِ صَاحِبِهَا تَرَدَّدَتْ فَإِنْ وَجَدَتْ مَسَاغاً وَ إِلَّا رَجَعَتْ عَلَی صَاحِبِهَا.
1. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq said, “Whenever a person curses, this curse travels till it gets a person who is worthy of it. If it does not get such a person, it returns to its source.”
