Chapter 60 | Reward of going to a mosque

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ یَحْیَی عَنْ کُلَیْبٍ الصَّیْدَاوِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَکْتُوبٌ فِی التَّوْرَاهِ أَنَّ بُیُوتِی فِی الْأَرْضِ الْمَسَاجِدُ فَطُوبَی لِعَبْدٍ تَطَهَّرَ فِی بَیْتِهِ ثُمَّ زَارَنِی فِی بَیْتِی أَلَا إِنَّ عَلَی الْمَزُورِ کَرَامَهَ الزَّائِرِ وَ فِی حَدِیثٍ آخَرَ أَلَا بَشِّرِ الْمَشَّاءِینَ فِی الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَی الْمَسَاجِدِ بِالنُّورِ السَّاطِعِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ.

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab from Safwan b. Yahya from Kulayb al-Saydawi from Abi Abdillah who said: “Know that those who visit mosque in darkness will get bright eyesight and glad-tidings on the Day of Judgment.”
