Chapter 118 | Punishment of injustice and oppression
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی نَهْشَلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ عَذَرَ ظَالِماً بِظُلْمِهِ سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی عَلَیْهِ مَنْ یَظْلِمُهُ فَإِنْ دَعَا لَمْ یَسْتَجِبْ لَهُ وَ لَمْ یَأْجُرْهُ اللَّهُ عَلَی ظُلَامَتِهِ.
14. My father said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya al-’Attar from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah from his father from Abi Nahshal from Abdillah b. Sinan from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who keeps quiet when an oppressor is doing injustice, the Almighty Allah makes that oppressor overpower him. He does not accept the prayer of the oppressed and does not reward him for injustice done to him.”
