The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 1104 (#Ḥadīth #1)

حَدَّثَنِی حَمْزَهُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَلَوِیُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ لِیَأْکُلَ بِهِ النَّاسَ جَاءَ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ وَجْهُهُ عَظْمٌ لَا لَحْمَ فِیهِ.

1. It was narrated to me by Hamzah b. Muhammad al-Alawi who said I was informed by Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Ja’far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers who said: that one who recites the Holy Quran for making money, will have no flesh on his face when he comes on the Day of Judgment.
