Chapter 74 | Reward of sweeping the mosque floor

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِیَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ عَنْ عُبَیْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِیدِ عَنْ أَبِی إِبْرَاهِیمَ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ کَنَسَ الْمَسْجِدَ یَوْمَ الْخَمِیسِ لَیْلَهَ الْجُمُعَهِ فَأَخْرَجَ مِنْهُ التُّرَابَ قَدْرَ مَا یُذْرَی فِی الْعَیْنِ غُفِرَ لَهُ.

1. It is narrated from Imam Musa Kadhim that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “If one sweeps the floor of a mosque on a Thursday night and cleans the quantity of dirt equal to the Antimony put in one’s eye then too Allah forgives him.”
