Chapter 96 | Reward of offering Salaat in congregation

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ مُعَلَّی بْنِ خُنَیْسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الْأَنْصَارِیِّ عَنِ الْمُعَلَّی بْنِ خُنَیْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ وَافَقَ مِنْکُمْ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَهِ فَلَا یَشْتَغِلَنَّ بِشَیْ ءٍ غَیْرِ الْعِبَادَهِ فَإِنَّ فِیهَا تُغْفَرُ للعباده [لِلْعِبَادِ] وَ تَنْزِلُ الرَّحْمَهُ.

3. The narrator heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq say, “One who gets a Friday, should not get involved in anything except worship because people are forgiven and mercy is showered on this day.”
