Chapter 2 | Reward of reciting Laa ilaaha illallaah a hundred times
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ غَانِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ حِینَ یَأْوِی إِلَی فِرَاشِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مِائَهَ مَرَّهٍ بَنَی اللَّهُ لَهُ بَیْتاً فِی الْجَنَّهِ وَ مَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ حِینَ یَأْوِی إِلَی فِرَاشِهِ مِائَهَ مَرَّهٍ تَحَاتَّتْ ذُنُوبُهُ کَمَا یَسْقُطُ وَرَقُ الشَّجَرِ.
2. My father said: it was narrated to us by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa from al-Hussain b. Sayf from Salim b. Ghanim from Abi Abdillah who said: “Allah builds a house in Paradise for one who recites Laa ilaaha illallaah a hundred times before going to bed. And the sins of one who recites Astaghfirullah a hundred times before going to bed are destroyed in the same way as dry leaves fall off from a tree.”
