Chapter 109 | Reward of Salaat-e-Shab
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَبُو زُهَیْرٍ النَّهْدِیُّ عَنْ آدَمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: عَلَیْکُمْ بِصَلَاهِ اللَّیْلِ فَإِنَّهَا سُنَّهُ نَبِیِّکُمْ وَ دَأْبُ الصَّالِحِینَ قَبْلَکُمْ وَ مَطْرَدَهُ الدَّاءِ عَنْ أَجْسَادِکُمْ.
2. My father said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya al-’Attar who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ahmad who said it was narrated to me by Abu Zuhayr al-Hindi from Adam b. Ishaq from Muawiyah b. Ammar from some of his companions from Abi Abdillah who said: “Offer Salaat-e-Shab for it is the Sunnah of Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) and the virtuous that came before you. It removes all the ailments from your body.”
