Chapter 109 | Reward of Salaat-e-Shab
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ یَحْیَی عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَبِی عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی طَالِبٍ ع قَالَ: قِیَامُ اللَّیْلِ مَصَحَّهٌ لِلْبَدَنِ وَ رِضَاءُ الرَّبِّ وَ تَمَسُّکٌ بِأَخْلَاقِ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ تَعَرُّضٌ لِرَحْمَهِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَی.
6. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Muhammad b. Isa from al-Qasim b. Yahya from his grandfather al-Hussain b. Rashid from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah who said it was narrated to me by Abi from his grandfather from his forefathers from Ali b. Abi Talib who said: “Salaat-e-Shab is related to the safety of body, pleasure of Lord, character of the prophets and it attracts the Mercy of Allah.”
