Chapter 109 | Reward of Salaat-e-Shab
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَفَعَهُ إِلَی أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فِی قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- إِنَّ الْحَسَناتِ یُذْهِبْنَ السَّیِّئاتِ قَالَ صَلَاهُ الْمُؤْمِنِ بِاللَّیْلِ تَذْهَبُ بِمَا عَمِلَ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ بِالنَّهَارِ.
11. Imam Ja’far Sadiq explains the statement of Allah that ‘Good deeds destroy sins’ by saying, “The Salaat offered by a believer at night destroys the sins committed by him during the day.”
