Chapter 118 | Reward of Hajj and Umrah

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِیَادٍ الْآدَمِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَنْ حَجَّ یُرِیدُ بِهِ اللَّهَ لَا یُرِیدُ بِهِ رِیَاءً وَ لَا سُمْعَهً غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ الْبَتَّهَ.

2. Imam Ja’far Sadiq says, “Allah forgives one who performs Hajj for Allah’s pleasure without the intention of showing it off to the people.”
