Chapter 4 | Reward of reciting Laa ilaaha illallaah with sincerity

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی زَیْدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی زِرُّ بْنُ حُبَیْشٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُذَیْفَهَ یَقُولُ لَا یَزَالُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ تَرُدُّ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ جَلَّ جَلَالُهُ عَنِ الْعِبَادِ مَا کَانُوا لَا یُبَالُونَ مَا انْتَقَصَ مِنْ دُنْیَاهُمْ إِذَا سَلِمَ دِینُهُمْ فَإِذَا کَانُوا لَا یُبَالُونَ مَا انْتَقَصَ مِنْ دِینِهِمْ إِذَا سَلِمَتْ دُنْیَاهُمْ ثُمَّ قَالُوهَا رُدَّتْ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ قِیلَ کَذَبْتُمْ وَ لَسْتُمْ بِهَا صَادِقِینَ.

4. Huzaifa says that Allah is never angry on one who recites Laa ilaaha illallaah properly. However, this is applicable till he sacrifices this world for the sake of religion. If religion is sacrificed for the sake of this world he will be told that you have turned towards the world. It will be further said that they are liars and they do not speak the truth.
