Chapter 5 | Reward of reciting Laa ilaaha illallaah loudly

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ یَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ یَرْفَعُ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ فَیَفْرُغُ حَتَّی تَنَاثَرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ تَحْتَ قَدَمَیْهِ کَمَا تَنَاثَرَ وَرَقُ الشَّجَرِ تَحْتَهَا.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq says, “The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, ‘A person who recites Laa ilaaha illallaah loudly is free. He crushes his sins with his feet and destroys them in the same way as dry leaves fall off from a tree’.”
