2. It was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. Isa from Ali b. Sulayman b. Yusif al-Bazaz from al-Qasim b. Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan b. Rashid who said: The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq , “Is there any other Eid for Muslims except the two Eids and Friday?” Imam replied, “Yes, here is an Eid greater than them; the day when Amirul Momineen was appointed as caliph and the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) had made his love compulsory on believing men and women at Ghadeer-e- Khum. A good deed performed on this day is equal to the deeds of eighty months. Muslims should remember Allah in excess on this day and recite Durood and Salaam on the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) many times and give more for the expenses of his family members.”
Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
