The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 272 (#Ḥadīth #4)
Chapter 138 | One should know that the Salaat of Eid can be offered in congregation only. One can offer Eid Salaat without congregation also for the following traditions support it:
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْحَلَبِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلَاهِ الْعِیدَیْنِ هَلْ قَبْلَهُمَا صَلَاهٌ أَوْ بَعْدَهُمَا قَالَ لَیْسَ قَبْلَهُمَا وَ لَا بَعْدَهُمَا شَیْ ءٌ.
4. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Muhammad b. Sinan from Abdillah b. Sinan al-Halabi from Abi Abdillah who said: The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq , “Is there any Salaat before or after the Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-e- Qurban?” Imam replied, “No, neither before nor after.”
