The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 276 (#Ḥadīth #1)

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ أَبِی طَاهِرِ بْنِ حَمْزَهَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ قَالَ: کُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِی وَ أَنَا غُلَامٌ فَتَعَشَّیْنَا عِنْدَ الرِّضَا ع لَیْلَهَ خَمْسٍ وَ عِشْرِینَ مِنْ ذِی الْقَعْدَهِ فَقَالَ لَیْلَهُ خَمْسٍ وَ عِشْرِینَ مِنْ ذِی الْقَعْدَهِ وُلِدَ فِیهَا إِبْرَاهِیمُ وَ وُلِدَ فِیهَا عِیسَی ابْنُ مَرْیَمَ ع وَ فِیهَا دُحِیَتِ الْأَرْضُ مِنْ تَحْتِ الْکَعْبَهِ وَ أَیْضاً خَصْلَهٌ لَمْ یَذْکُرْهَا أَحَدٌ فَمَنْ صَامَ ذَلِکَ الْیَوْمَ کَانَ کَمَنْ صَامَ سِتِّینَ شَهْراً.

1. My father said: it was narrated to us by Ahmad b. Idris who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. Ahmad who said it was narrated to us by Ahmad b. al-Hussain from Abi Tahir b. Hamzah from al-Hassan b. Ali al-Washa who said: “Ibrahim and Isa bin Maryam were born on 25th Zilqad, earth was spread under the Holy Kaaba in this night only and one who fasts on this day will get the reward of fasting for sixty years.”
