Chapter 147 | Reward of Ziyarat of Imam Husain

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بَلَغَنِی أَنَّ قَوْماً إِذَا زَارُوا الْحُسَیْنَ ع حَمَلُوا مَعَهُمُ السُّفْرَهَ فِیهَا الْجِدَاءُ وَ الأخصبه [الْأَخْبِصَهُ] وَ أَشْبَاهُهُ لَوْ زَارُوا قُبُورَ أَحِبَّائِهِمْ مَا حَمَلُوا مَعَهُمْ هَذَا.

23. Imam Ja’far Sadiq says, “I have been informed that when some people come for the Ziyarat of Imam Husain they carry sweet eatables with them but they don’t do so when they visit the graves of their loved ones!”
