Chapter 155 | Reward of memorizing the Quran with difficulty or with ease

حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنِ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ سَیَابَهَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ شُدِّدَ عَلَیْهِ الْقُرْآنُ کَانَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ وَ مَنْ یُسِّرَ عَلَیْهِ کَانَ مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq says, “One who memorizes Quran with difficulty will get two rewards and one who memorizes it with ease would be included among the virtuous.”
