Chapter 162 | Reward of reciter of the Holy Quran

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِیُّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی بْنِ عُبَیْدٍ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ غَنِیٌّ وَ لَا فَقْرَ بَعْدَهُ وَ الأمانه [إِلَّا مَا بِهِ] غِنًی.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq says, “The reciter of the Holy Quran is rich; there is no misery for him and one who does not recite the Holy Quran is not rich.”
