Chapter 164 | Reward of keeping the Holy Quran at one’s home

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِیُّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ الصَّیْرَفِیِّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ: إِنِّی لَیُعْجِبُنِی أَنْ یَکُونَ فِی الْبَیْتِ مُصْحَفٌ لا یَطْرُدُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الشَّیْطَانَ.

1. My father said: it was narrated to us by Ali b. al-Hussain al-Sa’dabadi from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah al-Barqi from Ali b. al-Hussain al-Sayrafi from Hamad b. Isa from Ja’far from his father who said: “I like keeping the Holy Quran at home. Allah keeps Satan away from the house because of it.”
