Chapter 179 | Reward of reciting Surah Yusuf

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ یُوسُفَ ع فِی کُلِّ یَوْمٍ أَوْ فِی کُلِّ لَیْلَهٍ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ جَمَالُهُ مِثْلُ جَمَالِ یُوسُفَ ع وَ لَا یُصِیبُهُ فَزَعٌ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ کَانَ مِنْ خِیَارِ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِینَ وَ قَالَ إِنَّهَا کَانَتْ فِی التَّوْرَاهِ مَکْتُوبَهً.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from his father from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who recites Surah Yusuf every day or night, the Almighty Allah would resurrect him on the Day of Judgment in a form as handsome as Yusuf . He won’t have any fear on the Day of Judgment and he would be among the virtuous servants of Allah. This Surah was revealed in the Old Testament also.”
