Chapter 248 | Reward of reciting Surah Alaq

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مُسْکَانَ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ فِی یَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَیْلَتِهِ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ ثُمَّ مَاتَ فِی یَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَیْلَتِهِ مَاتَ شَهِیداً وَ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ شَهِیداً وَ أَحْیَاهُ شَهِیداً وَ کَانَ کَمَنْ ضَرَبَ بِسَیْفِهِ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص.

1. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from Ali b. Muskan from Sulayman b. Khalid from Abi Abdillah who said: If someone recites Surah Alaq in the day or night and then he dies the same day or night it is as though he achieved the rank of martyrdom and he would remain alive like a martyr who might have used his sword along with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.).
