Chapter 255 | Reward of reciting Surah Asr
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ وَ الْعَصْرِ فِی نَوَافِلِهِ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ مُشْرِقاً وَجْهُهُ ضَاحِکاً سِنُّهُ قَرِیرَهً عَیْنُهُ حَتَّی یَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّهَ.
1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Ismail b. Mihran from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Abdillah who said: Whoever recites Surah Asr in his optional prayers, Allah would raise him on the Day of Judgment with cheerful and smiling face and happy and cool eyes, and eventually he would be admitted into Paradise.
