Chapter 268 | Reward of being a good teacher

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی وَ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مُعَلِّمُ الْخَیْرِ یَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ دَوَابُّ الْأَرْضِ وَ حِیتَانُ الْبُحُورِ وَ کُلُّ صَغِیرَهٍ وَ کَبِیرَهٍ فِی أَرْضِ اللَّهِ وَ سَمَائِهِ.

1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa and Ibrahim b. Hashim from al-Hussain b. Sayf from his father Sayf b. ’Umayra from ’Amru b. Shimr from Jabir from Abi Ja’far who said: “Every animal walking on this earth, fishes of oceans and every small and big thing in the earth and the heaven repents for a good teacher.”
