Chapter 272 | Reward of saying a true thing which people follow
حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَمَّنْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع لَا یَتَکَلَّمُ الرَّجُلُ بِکَلِمَهِ حَقٍّ فَأُخِذَ بِهَا إِلَّا کَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ أَخَذَ بِهَا وَ لَا یَتَکَلَّمُ بِکَلِمَهِ ضَلَالٍ یُؤْخَذُ بِهَا إِلَّا کَانَ عَلَیْهِ وِزْرُ مَنْ أَخَذَ بِهَا.
1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq said, “One who says a true thing and people follow it will also get the reward of people who performed that deed. One who says a false thing and people follow it, he too will get the punishment for the wrong deed performed by those people.”
