Chapter 274 | Reward of safeguarding orphans, showering mercy on weak, doing good to parents and behaving well with slaves

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ عُقْبَهَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ الثُّمَالِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: أَرْبَعٌ مَنْ کُنَّ فِیهِ بَنَی اللَّهُ لَهُ بَیْتاً فِی الْجَنَّهِ مَنْ آوَی الْیَتِیمَ وَ رَحِمَ الضَّعِیفَ وَ أَشْفَقَ عَلَی وَالِدَیْهِ وَ رَفَقَ بِمَمْلُوکِهِ.

1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Ali from Ali b. ’Uqba from Abdillah b. Sinan from Abi Hamzah al-Thumali from Abi Ja’far who said: “Allah builds a house in Paradise for people who do four things – shelter orphans, have mercy on the weak, do good to parents and behave well with slaves.”
