Chapter 293 | Reward of giving Sadaqah
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ طَلْحَهَ بْنِ زَیْدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّادِقِ ع عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ: أَوَّلُ مَا یُبْدَأُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ صَدَقَهُ الْمَاءِ.
2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from al-Abbas b. Ma’ruf from Ibn Sinan from Talha b. Zayd from Ja’far b. Muhammad al-Sadiq from his father who said: “My father used to say that the first deed to be rewarded on the Day of Judgment is offering water as Sadaqah.”
