Chapter 29 | Reward of reciting Bismillaah before entering toilet

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع إِذَا تَکَشَّفَ أَحَدُکُمْ لِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَیْرِ ذَلِکَ فَلْیَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّیْطَانَ یَغُضُّ بَصَرَهُ حَتَّی یَفْرُغَ.

1. It is narrated from Imam Ja’far Sadiq and his predecessors that Amirul Momineen said, “Whenever you bare yourself (go to toilet) recite Bismillaah for if you do so Satan will keep his eyes closed until you have covered yourself.”
