Chapter 293 | Reward of giving Sadaqah
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ یَحْیَی عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ غَالِبٍ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: الْبِرُّ وَ الصَّدَقَهُ یَنْفِیَانِ الْفَقْرَ وَ یَزِیدَانِ فِی الْعُمُرِ وَ یَدْفَعَانِ عَنْ صَاحِبِهَا سَبْعِینَ مِیتَهَ سَوْءٍ.
11. And from the previous chain from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah from his father from Safwan b. Yahya from Ishaq b. Ghalib from the one the person that narrated to him from Abi Ja’far who said: “Good deeds and Sadaqah keep poverty away, increases life. A person who does good deeds and gives Sadaqah is safe from seventy types of unpleasant deaths.”
