Chapter 293 | Reward of giving Sadaqah

أَبِی ره عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَیُّ الصَّدَقَهِ أَفْضَلُ فَقَالَ عَلَی ذِی الرَّحِمِ الْکَاشِحِ.

18. Abi from Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abi Abdillah from his forefathers who said: Imam Ja’far Sadiq narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) was asked, “Which Sadaqah is better?” The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) replied, “Giving Sadaqah to an inimical relative.”
