Chapter 330 | Reward of reciting salutation (Salawaat) on thebHoly Prophet (s.a.w.s.)
حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ السِّنْدِیِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِی الْبَخْتَرِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَنَا عِنْدَ الْمِیزَانِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ سَیِّئَاتُهُ عَلَی حَسَنَاتِهِ جِئْتُ بِالصَّلَاهِ عَلَیَّ حَتَّی أُثَقِّلَ بِهَا حَسَنَاتِهِ.
1. Imam Muhammad Baqir narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “I will stand near Mizan on the Day of Judgment. If I see a person whose sins are more than his good deeds I will keep the salutations recited on me by him in the pan of good deeds and make it tilt in his favor.”
