The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 592 (#Ḥadīth #1)

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِی بَعْضِ الْکُتُبِ مَنْ صَلَّی عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِائَهَ حَسَنَهٍ وَ مَنْ قَالَ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَلْفَ حَسَنَهٍ.

1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from the one that narrated to him from Abi Abdillah who said: Imam Ja’far Sadiq says that he has read in a heavenly scripture, “Allah will write a thousand rewards for one who sends salutations on Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) and his progeny. For one who recites Allaahumma s’alli a’laa muh’ammadinw wa ahli baitih Allah will write a thousand rewards.”
