Chapter 337 | Reward of reciting salutations (Salawaat) on the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and his successors after Prayer on Friday
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَهَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مُوسَی السَّابَاطِیِّ قَالَ: کُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَا هَذَا لَقَدْ ضَیَّقْتَ عَلَیْنَا أَ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْبَیْتِ خَمْسَهٌ أَصْحَابُ الْکِسَاءِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ کَیْفَ أَقُولُ قَالَ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَنَکُونَ نَحْنُ وَ شِیعَتُنَا قَدْ دَخَلْنَا فِیهِ.
3. And from the previous chain from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah al-Barqi from his father from ’Amru b. Sa’eed from Musdaq b. Sadaqah from Ammar b. Musa al-Sabati who said: “You did not include us in this salutation? Don’t you know that only the Ahle Bayt are only the five holy personalities of the Kisa (blanket).” He asked, “How should we send salutation?” Imam replied, “Say: Allaahumma s’alli a’laa muh’ammadinw wa aali muh’ammad so that even we and our Shias are included in it.”
