Chapter 342 | Reward of helping in Amr bil Maroof and Nahi Anil Munkar

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ یَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع الْآمِرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ النَّاهِی عَنِ الْمُنْکَرِ خَلْقَانِ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَمَنْ نَصَرَهُمَا أَعَزَّهُ اللَّهُ وَ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمَا خَذَلَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.

1. Imam Muhammad Baqir says, “Amr bin Maroof and Nahi Anil Munkar are the creatures of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime. One who helps them has honored Allah. One who insults them, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime will disgrace him.”
