The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 627 (#Ḥadīth #1)

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُوسَی بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْبَغْدَادِیُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُمْهُورٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ فِی کُلِّ یَوْمٍ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ سَبْعِینَ مَرَّهً أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِی لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِیمُ الْحَیُّ الْقَیُّومُ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَیْهِ کُتِبَ فِی الْأُفُقِ الْمُبِینِ قُلْتُ وَ مَا الْأُفُقُ الْمُبِینُ قَالَ قَاعٌ بَیْنَ یَدَیِ الْعَرْشِ فِیهِ أَنْهَارٌ تَطَّرِدُ فِیهِ الْقِدْحَانُ عَدَدَ النُّجُومِ.

1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah who said it was narrated to me by Musa b. Ja’far al-Baghdadi from Muhammad b. Jumhur from Abdillah b. Abdulrahman from Muhammad b. Abi Hamzah from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who recites Astaghfirullaahalladhee laa ilaaha illaa huwar rah’maanur rah’eemul h’ayyul qayyoomu wa atoobu ilaih seventy times every day in the month of Shaban his name will be noted in Afaq-e-Mubeen.” The narrator asked, “What is this Afaq-e- Mubeen?” There is a vast forest in front of the Divine Throne, which has springs flowing in it and has cups equal to the number of stars.”
