Chapter 362 | Reward of weeping in the fear of Allah

حَدَّثَنِی الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عُبَیْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ [بْنِ] الْمُغِیرَهِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ أَبِی زِیَادٍ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص طُوبَی لِصُورَهٍ نَظَرَ اللَّهُ إِلَیْهَا تَبْکِی عَلَی ذَنْبٍ مِنْ خَشْیَهِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَمْ یَطَّلِعْ إِلَی ذَلِکَ الذَّنْبِ غَیْرُهُ.

2. Imam Ja’far Sadiq narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Tooba (congratulations) for that face which Allah sees mercifully and that person who is weeping over his sins in fear of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime and none else is aware of this sin.”
