Chapter 37 | Swallowing ones spit for the respect of mosque
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ عَنِ السِّنْدِیِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ طَلْحَهَ بْنِ زَیْدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ رَدَّ رِیقَهُ تَعْظِیماً لِحَقِّ الْمَسْجِدِ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ رِیقَهُ صِحَّهً فِی بَدَنِهِ وَ عُوفِیَ مِنْ بَلْوَی فِی جَسَدِهِ.
1. It is narrated from Imam Ja’far Sadiq that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said, “One who swallows his spit out of respect of mosque Allah makes his mouth the cause of safety of his body and no harm would be caused to his body.”
