Chapter 381 | Reward of cultivating the advices of Allah in one’s self
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَا نَاصَحَ اللَّهَ عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ فِی نَفْسِهِ فَأَعْطَی الْحَقَّ مِنْهَا وَ أَخَذَ الْحَقَّ لَهَا [إِلَّا] أُعْطِیَ خَصْلَتَیْنِ رِزْقاً مِنَ اللَّهِ یَقْنَعُ بِهِ وَ یَرْضَی مِنَ اللَّهِ بِتَحِیَّتِهِ.
1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Muawiyah from Abi Abdillah who said: “No Muslim man cultivates the advices of Allah in himself then gives the rights and recovers the rights; but that he gets two benefits – he will get satisfying sustenance and salvation-giving pleasure of Allah.”
